Summertime means lots of gallery time, and the list is already long.

First stop: The Skirball for some superheroes.


My comic book knowledge doesn’t extend too far past Betty and Veronica, and I still loved this show. It’s basically a chronological history of comic books during World War Two, and just a little beyond. It was pretty fascinating and ends soon. You go to the exhibit, I’m gonna go reread Kavalier and Clay.

Then I need to check with my comic-y friends and make sure it’s cool that Captain Marvel is my new favorite.
